Dr. Adolfo Cotter founded Cognimetrix in 2007, motivated by a tremendous personal interest in the use of brain imaging data in the development of bionic based software to enhance creativity and intelligence.
Throughout his career, Dr. Cotter has performed brain imaging research in academic institutions such as Unversity of Toronto, University of Pennsylvania, and Emory University. He has also conducted brain imaging research for commercial companies such as at Cerebral Diagnostics.
Dr. Cotter has given lectures in Brain Imaging and attended numerous Brain Imaging meetings where he has presented his research projects. He has experience in brain imaging data acquisition and analysis for technologies such as PET, SPECT, MRI, fMRI and EEG. During his brain imaging analysis work, he has done biostatistics using a variety of software programs.
In addition, as a medical doctor, Dr. Cotter practices Telemedicine in Primary Care.

Mark Venning founded Change Rangers in 1996. With his vast knowledge of aging, longevity, work and career issues, he delivers research & advisory services primarily with non-profit and business leaders and speaks on topics regarding the business & social aspects of aging demographics such as marketing to segments of a 50-Plus audience, opportunities, trends and changing concepts in a longevity economy.
With an extensive background in the career & talent development field, Mark has expertise as a facilitator and strategic advisor in both the corporate and not for profit sectors and professional associations. His diversity of 1:1 client work spans several industries, including IT, Telecom, Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Packaged Goods, Financial and Professional services.
Mark has designed and delivered courses on entrepreneurship, sat on advisory panels, coached and reviewed business plans for start-ups.
Ongoing in 2019, in addition to his contributions to Cognimetrix Inc., Mark is a member on the marketing committee of the Oakville Chamber of Commerce. He serves as a mentor for young entrepreneurs 18-39 at Futurpreneur Canada and is on the Board of the Oakville Galleries, a contemporary art museum.
Paul MacDonald has over 20 years of executive, marketing, business development and sales experience in the North American pharmaceutical and medical device industry. He has worked with and for industry leading companies including 3M Healthcare, Astra Zeneca, Eli Lily, Hoechst Marion Roussel and Groupe Fournier.
In addition to his ongoing contributions to Cognimetrix, he is also the Vice-President of Sales at OtoSim Inc., one of the world’s most innovative medical simulation companies.
Paul is a former President and CEO of a pioneering company in the field of image-guided surgery: designated by FDA as a first-in-class device.
Paul has direct experience with Health Canada, FDA and ISO 13485 regulatory and quality system policies and requirements. He has been an invited lecturer on various Life Sciences industry topics to Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Western Ontario, Johns Hopkins University, and the Harbin (China) Institute of Technology. He is a Graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, Ontario.
